A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician in Canal Winchester, OH!
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with the processing, preparation, packaging, and distribution of prescription medications at its Micro Fulfillment Center.
This position combines pharmacy support, warehouse operations, automated machinery, and quality control to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment while following pharmacy regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $17.50/hr
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position (LET ME KNOW YOUR PREFERRED SHIFT).
- 1st Shift - 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Thursday-Monday (Tuesday & Wednesday off)
- Sunday-Thursday (Friday & Saturday off)
- 2nd Shift - 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM
- Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)
- Thursday & Friday only (Saturday-Wednesday off)
- Sunday-Wednesday (Thursday-Saturday off)
Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
- Process prescription orders, patient registrations, and refill requests using pharmacy fulfillment systems.
- Operate automated machinery to sort, process, package, and prepare prescription medications for distribution.
- Count and fill prescriptions, apply medication labels, and package orders for shipment.
- Move medication inventory through various stages of the fulfillment process while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Review prescription information, identify missing details, and resolve data entry discrepancies.
- Assist with insurance claim rejections by reviewing information, making corrections, and resubmitting claims.
- Support pharmacists and pharmacy team members with daily fulfillment operations.
- Monitor equipment performance, perform routine cleaning, and maintain organized workstations.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines, pharmacy regulations, standard operating procedures, and company safety policies.
- Identify and report prescription processing errors, equipment issues, or workflow concerns to appropriate personnel.
Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 2 years of relevant work experience preferred, including pharmacy, warehouse, fulfillment, production, or distribution experience.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic computer skills, including navigating programs, entering information, and using web-based applications.
- Intermediate typing skills of at least 25 words per minute.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be comfortable operating automated equipment and following established procedures.
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing to work assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must obtain an active pharmacy technician license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain it throughout employment.
