This position is Full Time, 4 Days (32 hours) per week and must be On-Site.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality medical care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education. This role will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery and will prescribe medications, perform procedures, and manage chronic conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will also maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to inmates in accordance with established policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
Perform assessments, diagnose, and treat patients, including prescribing medication and ordering appropriate tests.
Respect and adhere to the facility's safety, infection control, and operational policies, ensuring a safe and effective healthcare environment.
What we Ask of YOU:
An active and unrestricted license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Successful completion of a post-graduate clinical program in a Primary Care discipline (ANP, AGNP, FNP, ENP, or related).
Current and valid DEA Registration.
Board Certification in chosen clinical program (ANP, AGNP, FNP, ENP, or similar).
