Assignment Details- Locations: Portsmouth and Suffolk, Virginia
- Anticipated Start Date: March 1, 2027
- Duration: Intermittent coverage; specific holiday, vacation, weekday, and weekend dates are not yet provided
- Setting: 100% inpatient/hospital-based
- Day Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, 8:30 AM Äì4:30 PM
- Night Call: Monday ÄìFriday, 4:30 PM Äì8:30 AM
- Weekend Call: Friday at 4:30 PM ÄìMonday at 8:30 AM
- Additional Coverage: 24-hour call may be required
- Call Type: Beeper/phone
- Average Callback: Approximately three hours
- Patient Volume: Approximately 5 Äì10 patients daily
- Credentialing: Approximately 3 Äì6 months at both locations
- Temporary Privileges: Not available
- Travel: Not covered; local candidates or inclusive arrangements only

Requirements- Board certified in Vascular Surgery
- Completed Vascular Surgery fellowship
- Active Virginia medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Standard adult vascular surgery experience
- Dialysis-access procedures
- Ability to credential at both locations
- Prior work history within the health system must be disclosed at submission
Clinical Details- Adult and geriatric inpatient population
- Approximately 80% geriatric and 20% adult
- Bread-and-butter vascular surgery
