PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days
  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, possible with clean file
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Licenses: Active Virginia license and DEA
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: Residency trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Other Qualifications: Clean file required for privileging (60-90 days)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide day rounding for hospitalist service at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and patient care.
  • Work 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p).
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff.
  • Participate in EMR training and onboarding.
