Local Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 24 physicians with the support of a clinical performance nurse at St. Joseph's Medical Center.
- Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who rely on and learn from one another in their approach to patient care.
- We gather frequently for lunch and monthly for team meetings.
- We proudly sponsor H-1B candidates, and Sound has excellent in-house visa specialists as well as licensing and credentialing experts.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- IM or FM board certification or eligibility, with the expectation of obtaining certification.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in California.
- We welcome interest from physicians coming out of training or physicians with experience desiring a career change.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Days, swings, and nights available.
- Flexible block schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- We work in an open ICU setting with 24/7 intensivist coverage. Our team is not required to do procedures.
- We encourage our team to participate in hospital committees and the community.
- For those who like to teach, we work with Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents.

Rewards and Compensation:
- The expected annual compensation for this role is $350K+.
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
