We are seeking a Full time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)for our Outpatient ONLY rapidly growing Gastroenterology practice, with expansion to Corpus Christi and Portland, TX. An ideal candidate would be licensed to practice medicine in TX, preferably bilingual, excellent clinical skills and with strong work ethics. GI experience is desired but not a requirement, as Provider will be provided with training and education in close collaboration and supervision with other Providers in the group

About the Employer:
Texas based, Physician led independent group with practice of Gastroenterology in the outpatient setting. The group has offices in Houston, Victoria, Portland and is currently expanding its capabilities in these regions.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient management of Gastroenterology and Hepatology patients
- Evaluation and management of outpatients for various GI and Hepatology consultations.
- Manage patient care in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient encounter.
- Provide care for patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Perform outpatient procedures under supervision within the scope of training and education.
- Training and education of staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of TX.
- Strong knowledge base, however GI training will be provided for those coming without this background
- Experience with outpatient clinical medicine is a plus
- EMR familiarity (EClinical Works preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
