Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Locum)
Join a collaborative team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. This position offers a 6-month contract with a locum-to-perm conversion timeline. You ll be working in a facility with 9 Main ORs and 5 Endoscopy rooms, managing an average of 3-5 surgical cases per day (main OR) and 12-15 endoscopy cases. Designed for both adult and pediatric patients, this role provides a supportive environment with a focus on excellent patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical cases, including pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia.
- Assist in obstetrical and neurosurgical cases as required.
- Document patient information consistently using Meditech Expanse EMR system.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of surgical staff.
- Maintain adherence to facility protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (AANA) - Required
- Active state License in Massachusetts or willingness to obtain
- ACLS and BLS certification - Required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience preferred but new graduates will be considered
- Self-Query NPDB report must be presented within the same month as submission - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Active state license in Massachusetts
