Weekly schedule

• Monday-Wednesday: Surgery days
• Thursday-Friday: Pain cases

Clinical details

• Patient population: Adult and surgical patients; no pediatric cases (surgical age cutoff: 12 years)
• Case types: Pain, general, orthopedic, and some podiatry
• Volume: Slow, very little volume

CRNA responsibilities

• Provide surgical anesthesia for low-acuity general and orthopedic cases
• Provide light sedation for EGD/colonoscopy
• Perform epidurals and regional blocks

Required procedural skills:

• Conscious sedation
• Spinals
• Regional blocks
• Epidurals
• EGD/colonoscopy light sedation

Preferred, but not required: Interventional pain management experience
