CRNA Locum Tenens Job Details
- Location: Eureka, CA
- Opportunity Type: Locum tenens CRNA position
- Coverage Dates: November 23-29, 2026, excluding November 26; and December 7-11, 2026
- Schedule: 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days with a 1-hour lunch
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,240-$9,740
- Expected Patient Volume: Approximately 8 patient encounters per shift
- Call: Not required
- Potential Extension: Additional CRNA coverage opportunities may be available
CRNA Job Requirements
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification and authorization to practice in California
- At least 1 year of recent CRNA experience
- Board certification or board eligibility, as applicable
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Current CV and completed credentialing materials
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency in adult and pediatric general anesthesia
CRNA Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia to adult and pediatric patients
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patients throughout anesthetic procedures and recovery
- Manage ventilation and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure changes
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the procedural care team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
