What You ll Do
- Support cardiothoracic surgeons, PAs, and RNs during surgical procedures
- Perform technical and clinical procedures such as vein/radial artery harvests, chest tube placements, and line insertions
- Assist with intubation and extubation of adult patients
- Document patient care progress using Epic EMR system
- Support aseptic techniques and surgical protocols during procedures
- Collaborate with the team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
- Active state license to practice as an NP or PA
- Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery support
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant CT surgery experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience assisting in CVOR settings, with FIRST-ASSIST experience preferred
- DEA license
