Nurse Practitioner - Infectious Disease
Job Details:
Full-time position working Monday through Thursday (8-hour shifts) plus Friday (half day)Contract length of 52 weeks (1 year)See 12-15 patients per day in an outpatient Infectious Disease settingAdult patient populationMust have recent experience with and be comfortable treating HIV patientsPerform in-office physical assessments, review medical history, and interpret diagnostic tests and results to provide effective patient treatmentConduct preventive health screenings based on patient age, history, and unique needsEducate patients and their families about specialty care medical conditions, treatment, and follow-upMaintain accurate patient care records to ensure consistent patient history across officesPerform office-based specialty care medical procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines and clinical rolesIdentify ways to improve outpatient specialty care by assessing, problem-solving, and evaluating clinical and system issuesSupport staff includes RNs, CMA, and PhysicianEMR system: EPICBoard certification required; Master's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies requiredValid NC RN and Nurse Practitioner License or valid NC PA License requiredDEA requiredBLS (CPR) certification requiredMinimum of 3+ years of experience requiredFacility:
