Job Description: As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers and answer their queries with a smile. Provide exceptional service that enhances their shopping experience.
- Phone Management: Efficiently handle incoming calls, assist customers with their inquiries, and redirect calls to pharmacists when necessary.
- Will Call Management: Organize and maintain the 'will call' area. Ensure prescriptions are accurately filed and readily available for customer pick-up.
- Checkout Operations: Process sales transactions, handle payments, and provide receipts. Ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking shelves, conducting inventory checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical terminology is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail setting is preferred but not required.
