Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Join a dedicated NICU team as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) providing on-site neonatal care in Worcester, MA. This locum tenens opportunity offers overnight weekday coverage, weekend day and night shifts, and select 24-hour blocks through February 2027. You will play an important role in supporting consistent, high-quality care for neonates in a collaborative clinical environment.

• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and authorization to practice in Massachusetts
• At least 1 year of recent neonatal or NICU advanced practice experience
• National board certification or specialty certification applicable to neonatal advanced practice
• Current PALS certification
• Ability to provide overnight, weekend, and occasional 24-hour coverage
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to family-centered neonatal care

• Provide on-site neonatal care during assigned weekday overnight, weekend, and 24-hour coverage periods
• Evaluate neonates, monitor clinical status, and develop or adjust individualized care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and urgent clinical needs
• Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
• Support admissions, daily management, care coordination, and transitions of care within the NICU
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with patients' families and caregivers
