Join a dynamic, large academic hospital in Hershey, PA as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist on a locum tenens assignment. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, including general anesthesia, orthopedic, trauma, and more, in a collaborative team environment with other anesthesia providers. This role offers flexible shifts primarily during daytime hours, and no call requirement, making it an ideal opportunity for experienced professionals looking to broaden their practice scope.

- Schedule: 10-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 7:00 PM) and 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) with no call requirement
- Patient Population: Pediatric and Adult
- Location: Hershey, PA

Job Responsibilities
- Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period
- Develop and implement an anesthetic plan
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Obtain informed consent
- Perform a pre-anesthetic evaluation and postoperative assessment
- Administer general, regional, spinal, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
- Manage invasive monitoring and placement, airway management, and other related tasks

Qualifications
- Must have a valid PA license
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience is required
- Certified; board certification is required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required

Working Hours
- Flexible 10-hour and 12-hour shifts available
- No guaranteed hours, and overtime must be approved

Skills
- Proficiency in general and pediatric anesthesia
- Competence in neuro and thoracic cases
- Experience with ventilation management and managing acute volume/BP issues
- Preferred skills include central and arterial line placements
