Pulmonology Physician

Locums - Norton, Virginia, Pulmonology Job

Start Date: 12/07/2026

Schedule & Coverage:

• 1 week per month

• Monday-Friday

• 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

• 10-hour shifts

• No weekends

• No call

Patient Volume & Population:

• Approximately 10 patients per day

• Up to 6 patients per day for critical care rounding

• Approximately 4 patients per day for Black Lung evaluations

• Adult patients / coal miners

Practice Setting & Support:

• Pulmonology

• Respiratory Therapists available for support

• EMR: Epic

• Epic experience required; facility will not provide training

Procedures & Skills:

• Possible arterial line insertions

• EKG interpretation

• Pulmonary function test (PFT) interpretation

Requirements:

• Board Certified Pulmonologist

• Active Virginia license
