WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group is actively recruiting a Mohs Surgeon to join our growing medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. Job Details - Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with skin cancer and other dermatologic conditions.
- Perform Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancers, including complex and high-risk lesions.
- Perform surgical repairs and reconstructive procedures following Mohs surgery, including advanced wound closure techniques and tissue rearrangement.
- Conduct preoperative and postoperative evaluations and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Collaborate with dermatologists, pathologists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on skin cancer prevention, sun protection, surveillance, and treatment options.
- Participate in the continued growth and development of the Mohs and dermatologic surgery service line.
Qualifications - MD or DO degree
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Dermatology
- Fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency and an accredited Mohs fellowship
- Will need to obtain a West Virginia medical license and DEA registration upon hire
