Job description

Coverage: Call Only
Call Type: Beeper Call
Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Coverage: 1 weekend per month through July
EMR: MediTech
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Trauma Level: III
Pediatric Level: I

Call Details:

30-minute response time
Approximately 2 3 phone consults per call
1 2 patients seen per call
1 2 admissions per call
Call covers both new and established patients
Average 4 8 patients per shift

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible
Active Texas license or IMLC
BLS and PALS required
Pediatric Hospitalist experience

Clinical Details:

Inpatient pediatric coverage
Pediatric and newborn care
Admissions required
3 pediatric beds and 14 nursery beds
No APP supervision required
