Opportunities:
We are currently seeking a full time Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our laboratory team!
This individual will assist the registered pharmacist in preparing compounded medications under direct supervision. All work must be performed in accordance with USP 795/797/800 procedures and company policies.
What You Will Do:
- Perform all functions of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure accurate and prompt customer service.
- Compound oral solutions, suspensions, ointments, creams, gels, injectables and other medications for proper packaging and labeling before dispensing as permitted by state law.
- Assist in inventory management processes.
- Assist daily with maintaining the compounding laboratory by keeping it clean and in order in accordance with company regulations.
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 2 years of compounding experience and the following credentials/skills:
- Pharmacy Technician License (preferred)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred )
- Laboratory experience (preferred)
- Basic math skills (required)
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask (required)
- Excellent customer service skills (required)
- Knowledge of QSG/Docutrack (preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- A degree in health science is highly desirable (complete or in progress is preferred).

Schedule:
MONDAY TO FRIDAY (2-3 SHIFTS 8:30AM TO 4:30PM/ 2-3 SHIFTS 2:30PM TO 10:30PM)
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY (EVERY OTHER WEEKEND 11AM TO 7PM)
Work Location: Onsite in Troy, MI
