- Hospital Medicine provides 12-hour coverage daily Physician Requirements
- MD or DO
- Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
- Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license
- Active Mississippi DEA with required schedules
- Acceptable board certifications:
- ABEM
- ABFM
- ABIM
- AOBEM
- AOBFM
- AOBIM
- ACLS AHA required
- ATLS required
- PALS required
- BLS required unless EM board certified
- APBS/ABPS not accepted Credentialing Requirements Candidates must be prepared to provide a complete credentialing file with no outstanding items, including current CV, medical license, DEA, driver's license, Social Security card, diploma, residency certificate, board documentation, recent case logs, CME/CEU records, and malpractice coverage history.
