Quick Facts Location: Topeka, Kansas Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 04/05/2027 Shift: 12-hour shifts (day/night), every other weekend Hours/Week: 36 hours guaranteed Employment Type: Travel/Contract Licenses/Certifications: KS or Multistate RN license, BLS (AHA) required Experience: Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Trauma experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide direct patient care for post-surgical spinal, neuro, orthopedic, and trauma patients Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Document patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR system Assist with patient education and discharge planning Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant patient environment What You Need Kansas RN license or multistate licensure (no hits allowed) Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Trauma experience Active BLS certification (AHA) Strong clinical skills in trauma, neuro, orthopedic, and post-surgical care Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled About the Assignment You will join a dedicated team at a well-respected hospital in Topeka, caring for a diverse patient population recovering from spinal surgery, neurosurgery, or orthopedic trauma.
