JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Pennsylvania License
Board: Board Certified in Cardio-thoracic Surgery
DEA: Active DEA Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Fellowship Training Required
Other Qualifications: Local candidates preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Cardio-thoracic surgery coverage in a hospital-based setting
Perform adult cardiac and general thoracic surgical procedures
Manage cardio-thoracic surgery consultations and patient care
Round on assigned patients with APP and Surgical PA support
Participate in call coverage on an as-needed 1:3 rotation
Evaluate and treat patients requiring CABG, aortic surgery, pericardial window procedures, tube thoracostomy, and thoracic aneurysm management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
