What You ll Do
- Lead interdisciplinary team conferences for inpatient rehab patients
- Manage a caseload of neurologic diagnoses, including stroke and TBI
- Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Provide expert consultation for a robust referral service of patients
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital-based rehab setting
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on recovery and rehabilitation goals
What You Need
Required: - Valid medical license in North Carolina
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or neurology (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred: - Previous experience leading team conferences or managing a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of neurologic rehabilitation protocols
About the Assignment
This inpatient rehabilitation role is based at a hospital attached to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, a well-respected healthcare facility. The unit has a maximum census of 33 inpatient rehab patients and a dedicated team focused on neurological recovery. You will play an integral role in driving patient outcomes through leadership and expert care.
