Qualifications- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of ACGME-accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology preferred
- Unrestricted Texas medical license, or eligibility for Texas licensure
Position Details- Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join the practice.
- Full-time founding physician role with a new comprehensive cancer center opening Fall 2026
- Practice split of 20% hematology and 80% oncology
- Shared call
- Based at the hospital, a 425-bed acute care regional referral center and Level III Trauma Center, and at the cancer center once operational
- Cancer center will feature 32 infusion chairs, 18 exam rooms, an on-site lab, two LINACs for external beam radiation, a dedicated theranostics area, a 3.0 Tesla MRI, and a PET scanner
- Physician-led multispecialty group with over 215 providers in the region, including 50+ primary care physicians and surgical and medical specialists
- Dedicated hospital medicine team with a closed ICU; oncology is a consult-only service
