Assignment Details- Location: Paducah, Kentucky
- Initial Required Dates: November 25 Äì29, 2026
- Ongoing Need: Approximately 6 Äì7 days per month, with potential for additional coverage
- Shift: 24-hour coverage, 7:00 AM Äì7:00 AM
- Coverage Type: In-house and beeper/phone call
- Setting: 100% inpatient/hospital-based
- Patient Volume: Approximately 1 Äì6 patients daily
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days; expedited processing may be available
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- EMR: Epic
Requirements- Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC eligibility
- Active BLS certification
- Active DEA registration
- Full availability for November 25 Äì29, 2026
- OB and GYN call coverage
- Prior work history within the health system must be disclosed at submission
Clinical Details- Routine vaginal and low-forceps deliveries
- Cesarean-section decision-making and performance
- Complicated deliveries, including:
- Breech presentation - Multiple births - Placental abruption - VBAC- Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
- GYN call coverage required
- Level II nursery
- Approximately 700 Äì800 deliveries annually
- Approximately 140 Äì190 labor-and-delivery triage visits monthly
- Midwives take call and deliver their own patients
- Onsite laboratory and ultrasound services
- Low cesarean-section volume
