Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join its women's health team in Lima, Ohio.
The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women across a broad range of ages and clinical needs. The practice provides both routine and surgical gynecologic services.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care
- Perform routine women's health and wellness examinations
- Conduct pelvic examinations and Pap smears
- Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions
- Provide prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care
- Manage menstrual disorders and menopause-related conditions
- Provide family planning and infertility consultations
- Evaluate and treat sexually transmitted diseases
- Perform appropriate gynecologic procedures and surgeries
- Educate patients regarding preventive care and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, certified nurse-midwives, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for or possess an Ohio medical license
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
