Interventional Radiology Job Details
- Location: Panama City, Florida
- Healthcare Setting: On-site, hospital-based Interventional Radiology

- Schedule: Coverage needs 7 days per week
- Shift: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, plus Interventional Radiology call Monday through Sunday as scheduled
- Holiday Coverage: Major and minor holidays as available
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,480-$7,670
Interventional Radiologist Job Requirements
- Board certification in Interventional Radiology is required
- At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology physician experience
- Current, unrestricted physician license appropriate for practice in Florida
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing and privileging requirements
- A clean professional file may support consideration for temporary credentialing
Interventional Radiology Physician Responsibilities
- Provide on-site Interventional Radiology consultation and image-guided procedural care
- Perform drainage procedures, including abscess drainage, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
- Complete image-guided biopsies involving soft tissue, lymph nodes, bone, liver, and lung
- Perform vascular access procedures, including PICC placement, tunneled lines, and central access
- Provide biliary interventions, including drain placement and cholangiography
- Perform peripheral angiography, embolization, and other vascular procedures
- Support oncology programs through image-guided biopsy and vascular access procedures
- Participate in active inpatient consultation services and scheduled Interventional Radiology call
- Use RPCE technology and PowerScribe 4.0 within the clinical workflow
- Meet an expected productivity level of at least 45 RVUs per shift
