Cardiology - Interventional Physician

We have opening an Interventional Cardiology Locum Physician need with Medical Center located in Normal, IL.

Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology. It is not an absolute for them to perform TEEs; however, they do need to be able to read Transthoracic Echo and nuclear stress testing.

If confirmed, locum provider must agree to the following requirements: provide locum firm with vaccination records, negative drug screening, and complete physical within 90 days of start date.


LICENSE RESTRICTION: We are only considering candidates that are ALREADY ACTIVELY licensed in Illinois with an active Illinois CS/DEA license.


SCHEDULE: Full-time coverage Mon-Friday daytime coverage of 7:30am -5:30pm and then nighttime call of 5:30p -7:30am, TBD. May also need some weekend coverage which consists of call from Friday 5:30pm through Monday at 7:30am. This full-time coverage can be split between two providers.

Submission Requirements

• BC or truly BE in Interventional Cardiology, MD or DO
• IL License Active (active IL DEA/CS, too) Required
• BLS (AHA) Certification - Required
• ACLS (AHA) Certification - Required
• Availability per request - Required
• Clean and easy-to-credential candidates Highly Preferred
