Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer) to join a growing healthcare team in the Presque Isle area. This role is ideal for a professional with strong cardiac imaging experience who is looking for a stable, full-time opportunity in a supportive, community-focused environment.
You will play a key role in performing high-quality echocardiograms that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities - Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and related cardiac ultrasound procedures
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation of findings
- Work closely with physicians to support diagnosis and patient care
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and quality standards
- Follow all protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout procedures
Qualifications - RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
- Prior experience in cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography preferred
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
