A leading regional healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support surgeons and clinical teams throughout a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside surgeons, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the perioperative team while helping ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Trinity Health's surgical services include general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, orthopedic and trauma procedures, neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and robotic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare operating rooms for scheduled and emergent surgical procedures
-
Assemble and organize sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment
-
Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures
-
Anticipate the needs of surgeons and provide appropriate instruments and supplies
-
Establish and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures
-
Perform surgical counts in collaboration with the circulating RN
-
Handle, clean, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment
-
Ensure surgical equipment is properly functioning and available for procedures
-
Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping
-
Support infection prevention and patient safety practices
-
Assist with operating room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
-
Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia personnel, and other members of the surgical team

Maintain accurate documentation and follow established departmental policies and procedures

Participate in quality, safety, and competency initiatives
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred

Surgical Technologist certification preferred

Current North Dakota UAP/Technician registration or applicable qualifying credential

LPN license may substitute for surgical tech certification/UAP requirements

Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile technique

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room
