Facility:This opportunity supports a renowned healthcare network spanning three hospital locations across Northern Colorado, including Level I, II, and III Trauma Centers. With 48 ICU beds, a team of 20 pulmonologists, and 10 mid-level providers, the system offers robust collegial support and comprehensive resources including onsite lab and imaging across all facilities.

Job Details:- Locum Tenens Pulmonary Critical Care support across three hospital locations: Level I, II, and III Trauma Centers
- Candidates must have recent Level I Trauma experience (within the last 24 months) to be considered
- Each locum will only be assigned one location per 12-hour shift
- Coverage is capped at 7 consecutive days and will rotate between locations to allow for lighter days between shifts
- In-house coverage: 7a-7p (includes rounding) at all three locations
- In-house overnight coverage: 7p-7a at Level I Trauma location
- Offsite pager call: 7p-7a at Level II and Level III Trauma locations
- Other pulmonology physicians will be onsite with locum at Level I and Level II Trauma locations
- Setting: Inpatient, Level I, II, and III Trauma
- Critical Care Intensivist experience is required for ICU coverage
- Inpatient Pulmonology experience is preferred
- Required Pulmonary Procedures: Ventilation Management - Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) and Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP), Bronchoscopy (Diagnostic and Diagnostic with Bronchial Alveolar Lavage), Chest tube insertion, Central line insertion, Arterial line insertion, Thoracentesis, Therapeutic with Foreign body extraction
- Critical Care Medical Settings: Cardiac arrest/failure, respiratory arrest/failure, sepsis, metabolic disorders, renal failure, OD/poisoning, drowning
- Critical Care Surgical Settings: Pre- and post-operative general, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, and cardiovascular/thoracic patients
- EMR: EPIC - mandatory training required prior to first day, available Tuesdays or Fridays at 8a MT only; no test-out option available
- Active Colorado License or Active IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of name clear) required
- Board Certification in Pulmonology Critical Care required
- Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA required for credentialing
- Candidates must disclose specific dates of availability January 2027 - April 2027 at time of presentation
- Must state number of shifts per month provider can commit to
- Clean malpractice and background history required
- Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days, includes credentialing with multiple facility locations
- Travel reimbursement available for flights (economy), lodging (up to $150/night before taxes and fees), car rental (economy cap), and mileage at IRS standard rate
- Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
