This is an inpatient-focused role providing 24-hour CV surgical call coverage for ED and referred elective cases. The facility offers competitive daily call and callback rates, along with full support and travel coverage.
Assignment Details: Location: Lufkin, Texas (multiple affiliated facilities)
Coverage Type: 24-hour call coverage (7am 7am)
Need Type: Ongoing locum support (flexible dates and shifts)
Setting: Inpatient surgical coverage for CV, thoracic, and elective cases
Procedures: Full-scope Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery
Patients/Day:
Support Staff: Standard hospital/clinic staff; vein harvesting support may be available depending on volume
EMR Systems:
Compensation Breakdown: 24-Hour Daily Call Rate: $3,600
Holiday 24-Hour Call Rate: $5,400
Callback (Weekday): $400/hr
Callback (Holiday): $600/hr
