Job description

A growing hospital-based surgical team just north of Portland, Maine, is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join a collaborative, patient-centered practice with a broad elective and inpatient surgical mix, including minimally invasive and bariatric surgery.Position Highlights:Full-time hospital-based general surgery practiceBroad mix of elective and inpatient surgical casesPerform a wide range of general surgical procedures across adult populations

Ideal candidate will also have some expertise in bariatric and metabolic surgery, including minimally invasive proceduresManage full perioperative care including pre-op, operative, and post-op managementCollaborate closely with anesthesiology, nutrition, endocrinology, and multidisciplinary surgical teamsEducate patients and families on surgical options, risks, and recovery planningParticipate in quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiativesFlexible scheduling with shared call responsibilitiesAccess to advanced surgical technology and strong specialty supportCompensation & Benefits:
