A Nurse Practitioner is needed for a temporary assignment in Radiology at a medical facility, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. This position requires performing and interpreting various radiologic procedures alongside a team of professionals, including radiologic technologists and speech pathologists. The assignment will start as soon as credentialing allows, offering a 6-month engagement with a flexible schedule.

Job Responsibilities- Perform and interpret esophagrams, upper GI studies, and modified barium swallow studies alongside a Speech-Language Pathologist.- Operate and manage fluoroscopy equipment with support from technologists.- Provide final interpretations of studies and sign reports, with oversight from supervising radiologists.- Contribute to a smooth transition towards a permanent staffing model for the department.
Qualifications- Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)- Documentation of at least 5 procedures for each listed type within the past 24 months- Willingness to undergo proctoring as part of credentialing if necessary- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Working Hours- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM- No call or rounding required
Skills- Proficient in performing and interpreting radiologic procedures- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC- Ability to work independently while under supervision
