Job Responsibilities
- Provide first assist in the OR and assist with clinic procedures
- Engage in comprehensive patient care through rounding, admissions, and surgical assistance
- Collaborate with MD/DO to deliver patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Preferred licensure in Oregon; open to non-OR licensed candidates for later dates
- Recent surgical case logs and documentation of training and competency in surgical assistance roles required
Working Hours
- Rotating 10-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM or overnight
- 24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM-7:00 AM, weekdays and weekends
- Must align with staffing needs for both scheduled and on-call responsibilities
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly EPIC
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated skill in vascular/endovascular patient management and surgical first assist duties
