"Hematology/Oncology Physician OpportunityPosition OverviewAn established cancer program is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician to provide full-time outpatient coverage due to physician retirements and relocations. The provider will join a collaborative oncology team focused on delivering high-quality cancer care in a community-based setting.Compensation:Overtime: $410/hrNight Call: $390/hrWeekend Call: $2,730Call Back: $410/hrScheduleFull-time coverage required45 days per weekClinic hours: 8:30 AM 4:30 PMAdministrative day or half-day available as neededOngoing assignmentPractice SettingOutpatient Cancer CenterEMR: EpicTeam-based practice environmentCall CoverageShared call rotationApproximately 1 week of call, including one weekend, every 4 weeksLimited inpatient responsibilities, primarily related to patients admitted for inpatient chemotherapyClinical ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat hematology and oncology patientsDevelop and manage treatment plansOversee chemotherapy and cancer treatment protocolsCollaborate with multidisciplinary cancer care teamsParticipate in outpatient clinic and call coverageProvide care consistent with the training and licensure of a Hematologist/OncologistPatient PopulationApproximately 80% OncologyApproximately 20% HematologyFocus on timely evaluation and treatment of newly diagnosed solid tumor patientsAverage patient volume: 1015 patients per dayTeam Structure3 Physicians2 Advanced Practice ProvidersRadiation Oncology support available onsiteQualificationsBoard Certified in Hematology and OncologyActive Oregon medical license preferredDEA requiredEligible for medical staff membership and clinical privilegesClean professional background strongly preferredAdditional InformationCredentialing timeframe approximately 68 weeksEpic training required prior to startLodging assistance available for qualifying providersIdeal CandidateExperienced Hematologist/Oncologist comfortable with both benign hematology and solid tumor oncologyTeam-oriented physician who thrives in a collaborative cancer center environmentAble to commit to full-time ongoing coverageDedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered oncology care"
