Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania 17042Facility: Lebanon VA Medical CenterSchedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM On-siteOn-Call: 1 weeknight every 2 weeks and 1 weekend every 2 monthsPosition Type: Full-Time / Long-TermPay Rate: $250/hour on 1099Position OverviewJR Enterprise is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to Veterans at the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.This is a long-term opportunity within a collaborative healthcare environment where the physician will provide evaluation, treatment, consultation, and ongoing management of a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive Psychiatry evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for Veterans.Treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including:oPTSDoMood disordersoSchizophrenia and other psychotic disordersoSubstance use and addictive disordersoDementiaoPsychiatric conditions associated with medical and neurological disordersProvide inpatient psychiatric care on a 22-bed psychiatric unit.Perform psychiatric evaluations, follow-ups, treatment planning, and clinical consultations.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.Maintain familiarity with reusable medical equipment (RME), instruments, devices, and supplies used within the clinical area.Follow applicable facility policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Perform additional clinical duties as assigned.Qualifications & RequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.Current and valid DEA registration.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary, team-based healthcare environment.Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.Ability to provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and clinical consultations.Successful completion of required credentialing and background checks, including:oNational Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) reviewAny identified professional or background-related concerns may be subject to review by the Behavioral Health Director.Why Serve Veterans?Working with the VA provides an opportunity to use your psychiatric expertise to support the health and well-being of Veterans who have served our country.You will work alongside a collaborative healthcare team while providing comprehensive mental health services in a structured clinical environment.Data Protection & PrivacyJR Enterprise, LLC collects personal information from applicants solely for recruitment and employment-related purposes.
