This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Medicine physician with an interest in obstetrics to help shape the next generation of primary care providers while maintaining an active clinical practice.The residency program is entering its second year and includes six residents per class. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for resident education, clinical excellence, mentorship, and the advancement of full-scope Family Medicine care.
Position HighlightsProvide direct clinical supervision and teaching to Family Medicine residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.Assist with the development, refinement, and delivery of the residency curriculum while supporting ongoing ACGME compliance.Serve as a mentor and advisor to residents in clinical skills development, scholarly work, quality improvement initiatives, and career planning.Participate in and facilitate resident scholarly activity, research, and quality-improvement projects.Maintain an active clinical practice in Family Medicine, with an opportunity to focus on Family Medicine with Obstetrics.Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with flexibility and no practice call.Play a meaningful role in building and growing a developing Family Medicine Residency Program.60% Instruction / 40% Clinical
QualificationsBoard eligible or board certified in Family Medicine.Fellowship training in Obstetrics is preferred but not required.Experience in Graduate Medical Education is highly desirable.Eligible for an unrestricted California medical license.Strong interest in teaching, mentorship, curriculum development, and resident education.Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered Family Medicine care, including obstetric care when applicable.
