We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to join an established outpatient practice in Riverhead, NY . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician or a graduating resident interested in providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to the local community.
The physician will care for patients across a broad range of ages and health needs while working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform routine physical examinations, preventive care, and health screenings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and follow up on patient progress.
- Coordinate referrals, testing, and specialty care when needed.
- Build long-term relationships with patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient-care initiatives.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine .
- Active New York medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experienced physicians preferred; graduating residents are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work between the Riverhead and Wading River clinic locations.
