Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility located in Loveland, CO
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 01/01/2027 to 04/2027
This assignment includes Inpatient Pulmonology/Critical Care , onsite hospital coverage, ventilation management, bronchoscopy and critical care procedures, and on call weekend.
Locum Physician Pulmonary Critical Care Loveland, CO
Shift: Varied 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Start Date: 01/01/2027
End Date: 04/2027
Position Details: Coverage across UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Poudre Valley Hospital, and Greeley Hospital; one location per 12-hour shift
Patient Population: Adult critical care and pulmonary patients
Setting: Inpatient, Level I, II, and III Trauma
Responsibilities: In-house pulmonary critical care coverage, ICU rounding, inpatient pulmonology, night call and management of critically ill medical and surgical patients
Required Procedures: Ventilation management, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, bronchoscopy, BAL, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, thoracentesis, therapeutic foreign body extraction
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Other pulmonologists onsite at MCR and PVH; no dedicated support staff specified at the worksites
Days Per Month: Approximately 30 shifts per month across all locums; maximum 7 consecutive days
On-Call/Weekends: Weekend coverage required; night call at PVH and GH from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Requirements
- Board Certified in Pulmonology & Critical Care
- Active Colorado license or active IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of name clear
- Recent Level I Trauma experience within the last 24 months
- Must be able to perform all required pulmonary and critical care procedures
