CRNA Job Details
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,390-$7,790
- Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
- Start Date: December 14, 2026
- Contract Duration: Approximately 30 weeks, ending July 12, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time; five 8-hour shifts per week
- Shift Details: Night coverage is noted, with a primary schedule of 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Scheduling Requirements: Flexibility for Monday and Friday coverage, nonconsecutive workdays, and changing case assignments
- Clinical Volume: More than 60 anesthesia cases per day across a broad anesthesiology service
- Medical Record: Epic electronic medical record
CRNA Job Requirements
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential
- CRNA board certification
- Active North Carolina CRNA license
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience; 1-2 years preferred
- New graduates are not eligible for this locum tenens CRNA opportunity
- Ability to provide anesthesia care for patients across the lifespan
- Adaptability to changing case assignments and varied procedural needs
CRNA Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality certified registered nurse anesthesia care throughout the perioperative process
- Support a diverse surgical caseload, including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, ENT, ophthalmologic, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neurologic, and trauma procedures
- Provide anesthesia services for non-operating-room procedures, including interventional radiology, electrophysiology, endoscopy, and MRI
- Care for patients across the lifespan while assessing individual clinical needs and anesthesia-related risks
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within a medically directed practice model
- Maintain accurate and timely anesthesia documentation in Epic
- Use anesthesia machines and patient monitoring equipment safely and effectively
- Apply sound clinical judgment, respond to changing patient conditions, and promote excellent patient outcomes
- Experience with cardiac, vascular, neurologic, or pediatric anesthesia cases is welcomed
