What You ll Do - Provide emergency medical care to a patient volume of approximately 40-60 patients in 24 hours
- Collaborate with a team of two APCs and attending physicians to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Utilize hospital resources such as Telestroke and Tele ICU services
- Support general surgical, orthopedic, and hospitalist teams as needed
- Participate in ongoing patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Maintain documentation and comply with healthcare standards and procedures
What You Need - Active medical license in Wisconsin
- Previous experience in emergency medicine or urgent care preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
About the AssignmentThis assignment is at a busy emergency department located just 30 minutes from Madison and 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells and popular tourist areas. The facility manages a high patient volume with access to specialized services, including Telestroke, Tele ICU, and a UW helicopter for emergencies. The department supports a collaborative approach to patient care, ensuring providers have the resources needed for success.
