ATC West Healthcare is seeking one locum Primary Care provider (NP, PA, or MD/DO) to provide temporary coverage while the organization recruits a permanent clinician. The provider will care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a well-established outpatient practice, working with a collaborative team and utilizing Epic EMR. No call, ED coverage, or supervisory responsibilities are required.
Dates / Schedule
- Start Date: Tentatively August 3, 2026
- Assignment Length: Minimum of 12 weeks
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday Thursday
- Patient Volume: patients per day
- Credentialing: Temporary privileges available; approximately 10 business days
Job Details / Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care services for adult and geriatric patients.
- Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
- Perform pelvic exams and Pap smears.
- Conduct disability examinations.
- Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR.
- Work alongside 5 primary care physicians and 4 advanced practice providers.
- No supervision of other healthcare providers.
- No emergency department backup or call responsibilities.
- Practice includes 2 3 exam rooms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- NP, PA, or MD/DO eligible for the position.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain board certification within 3 years of training completion).
- Minimum of 1 year of primary care experience.
- Active Michigan license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Current BLS certification.
- Available to work full-time, Monday through Thursday.
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
- Must be a local Michigan drive-in provider.
