Clinical Responsibilities:- Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders, including:
- Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational) - Thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules) - Adrenal and pituitary disorders - Growth and puberty disorders - Osteoporosis and calcium disorders - Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)- Interpret laboratory tests and imaging related to hormonal conditions
- Develop and manage long-term treatment plans, including medication, hormone therapy, and lifestyle guidance
- Monitor chronic conditions and adjust treatment as needed
- Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists
- Educate patients on disease management and prevention
Requirements:- MD degree
- Completion of Internal Medicine residency
- Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
- Strong experience managing chronic endocrine conditions
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills
