Facility Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join a dynamic team at a Level III Trauma Center in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. This facility provides a wide range of surgical services and fosters a collaborative work environment that values teamwork and patient care. Job Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Handle a variety of cases including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Plastics, Pediatric, OB, Vascular, Thoracic, Hands, Podiatry, Urology, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Catheterization, Electrophysiology, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and MRI.
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards.
- Work 36-40 hours per week with flexible shift options (8s & 12s or 10s) from Monday to Friday.
- On-call availability is optional for locum providers.
- Care for a patient population consisting of 10% pediatric and 90% adult/geriatric patients.
- Manage an average of 35 cases per operating room daily, plus 20 offsite cases.
- Participate in a supportive team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA).
- Active Michigan nursing license.
- Clean background check.
- ACLS & BLS certification through AHA.
- PALS certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience.
- Able to work a minimum of 36 hours per week.
License and Certification Requirements:
- NBCRNA certification (Required).
- Active Michigan license (Required).
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification (Required).
