Orthopedics Physician Assistant

An inpatient orthopedic practice in Neptune City, NJ is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in a hospital-based setting. This role supports daily orthopedic trauma care, inpatient rounds, and coordination with the care team.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 6:30 AM-2:30 PM
• Setting: Inpatient hospital setting

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inpatient rounds and floor work
• Round on pre-operative and post-operative patients
• Assist with consults and care coordination
• Complete discharges in a timely manner
• Assist other PAs with splinting as needed

Qualifications:

• Current Physician Assistant licensure
• Active DEA registration
• Active CDS registration
• Experience in orthopedic trauma, general surgery, or inpatient surgical care

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a locum tenens assignment
• Familiarity with inpatient orthopedic trauma workflows
• Ability to collaborate effectively with another APP
