McAllen, Texas - Podiatrist Job

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible podiatrist
- Full-time position
- Open to 2026 graduates
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Call: Yes, dependent on hospital privileges; currently 1 week per month with very low volume
- Hospital work not required unless pursuing surgical privileges
- Practice type: Mix of general podiatry and surgical cases
- Surgeries typically Wednesday afternoons (1pm-5pm)
- Open to candidates who prefer general podiatry only
- Patient volume:
- New grads: build at a comfortable pace
- Experienced providers: 40+ patients per day
- Strong support staff including medical assistants (assist with x-rays and intake)
- EMR: ModMed
- Split schedule:
- Half days in McAllen and Weslaco
- Fridays: full day in McAllen
- Wednesdays: half clinic, half hospital (if doing surgery)

Organization Information:
- Physician-owned private practice
- Base salary: $160,000-$180,000
- Bonus: 20% of collections after $400K (based on individual productivity)
- Partnership opportunity available for the right candidate
- Employment agreement: minimum 2-year commitment
- Includes a 15-mile non-compete from each location
