Gastroenterology Physician

Our client, a leading academic medical institution, is hiring a General Clinical Gastroenterologist to join their faculty. As a General Clinical Gastroenterologist, you will play a vital role in managing a diverse patient population with various gastrointestinal pathologies, including non-transplant liver disease.

Responsibilities:

• Outpatient and inpatient management
• Performing general procedures such as endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP, and Esophageal Motility
• Opportunity to teach residents and fellows, and contribute to clinical research

Required:

• MD degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Valid New York State License
• DEA and Medicaid number
• Experience in teaching and clinical research
• Familiarity with urban, ethnically diverse patient populations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
