Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

OnCall Solutions is partnering with an Edison, New Jersey hospital seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist for long-term locum tenens coverage.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Five 24-hour shifts per month
• Shifts run 7:00 a.m. 7:00 a.m.
• Inpatient hospital setting
• Epic EMR
• Level II NICU support
• MD and CNM coverage model
• Teaching opportunity with family medicine residents

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Triage and admit obstetric patients
• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Complete prenatal and postpartum rounds
• Perform postpartum tubal ligations
• Provide emergency department and inpatient GYN consultations
• Manage emergency gynecological cases
• Perform D&C, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and related procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of three years of clinical OB/GYN experience
• Active New Jersey medical license
• Proficiency in laparoscopy and D&C
• Comfortable with emergency OB/GYN cases
• Able to work 24-hour in-house shifts
