Job description

SMART is actively recruiting for a locum emergency medicine physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in Northwestern Mississippi, about a hundred miles south of Memphis. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing for 6+ months
Qualifications:

  • Active MS License preferred
  • BC/BE in Emergency Medicine or FM w/ED experience
  • ACLS, ATLS AND PALS (ATLS waived for EM Board certified)
Job Summary:
  • Shift times: 7a-7p
  • Scribe available 11a-11p each day
  • Annual volume: 10k
  • Avg. 2 patients per hour
  • Admitting Orders: Bridge orders are used (confirming with FMD)
  • Not a trauma center
  • EMR: MedHost
