We are seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum opportunity beginning in late September 2026. This assignment combines outpatient oncology with light inpatient rounding and offers temporary privileges for an expedited start.

Schedule
- Monday Friday
- Clinic: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Night Call: 5:00 PM 8:00 AM
- 1 2 weekend 24-hour call shifts per month (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Practice Setting
- Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic
- Acute Care Hospital
- EMR: 80% Paper / 20% Meditech
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology care
- Manage approximately patients per day
- Daily inpatient rounding (typically 1 2 hours based on consult volume)
- Perform bone marrow biopsies as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with hospital specialists and oncology support staff
Patient Volume

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Rhode Island medical license (facility will wait for licensure)
- Rhode Island CSR required
- DEA required
- Board certification verification required at submission
- Rhode Island license verification required if already licensed
